The Pasco County Library Cooperative was established on
September 14, 1999, as a result of an Interlocal Agreement between the Pasco County
Board of County Commissioners and the Zephyrhills City Council. The purpose of the Cooperative
is to enhance and expand the coordination of equal access in free public library
services in Pasco County. The public libraries participating in the Cooperative
are the Pasco County Library System and the Zephyrhills Public Library.
The Pasco County Library Cooperative Board consists of four members
who are registered voters. One member represents the Pasco County Library
System Advisory Board. One member represents the Zephyrhills Public Library
Advisory Board. The remaining members are chosen at-large with one from the
west side of the County and one from the east side of the County.
The Library Director from each library is also a member of the Board.
The Library Cooperative Board works toward the development and implementation
of cooperative programs and services between the two libraries.
The Bylaws of the Pasco County Library Cooperative Board are available
