Holiday Programs Policy

POLICY TITLE: HOLIDAY PROGRAMS
EFFECTIVE DATE: August 2005


Philosophy:

The policy for holiday programs will be based on the philosophy of the policy for holiday displays.

General Guidelines:

  • Holiday programs presented by the Library should be secular in nature. Programs that have a historical perspective and/or those based on secular literature about the holiday are acceptable.

  • Sets, costumes, props, or other trappings should follow the guidelines for holiday display.

  • Holiday music of a secular nature may be played in coordination with the program.
