This storytime is intended for children (ages 3-5) along with their caregiver. During storytime, they will enjoy stories, songs, and assorted activities. Registration begins two weeks prior to the program. Important Notes: Registration is required for each child in attendance. Masks are recommended but not required.

Tai chi is often described as meditation in motion. This introductory Yang Style 24 class is focused on improving balance, mental focus, and strength in a supportive environment. Emphasis is on the Eight Principles of Tai chi.In low-impact, slow-motion Tai chi, you go without pausing through a series of motions named for animal actions. As you move, you breathe deeply and naturally. The movements are usually circular and never forced, the muscles are relaxed rather than tensed, the joints are not fully extended or bent, and connective tissues are not stretched. The Christmas Bird Count (CBC) is the world's longest ongoing citizen science project. The first count occurred on Christmas Day in 1900. This year will be the 123 consecutive count.  2551 counts were turned in with the 2021 Christmas Bird Count . An amazing 42,217,206 birds were counted. West Pasco alone saw 162 species and 18,602 total birds. Join the Pasco Audubon at the Starkey Ranch Library to learn more about this important project.
