Memory Kits

Now available for all patrons to check out with their library card, Memory Kits are designed to support individuals with dementia or cognitive challenges by helping them recall moments from the past.

Containing photographs, music, movies, and activities, these kits can help spark memories and provide a bridge for caregivers and loved ones to connect. These kits encourage mental and emotional stimulation, helping to initiate conversations and evoke memories.

How Does it Work?

Each set comes with a themed pack of photocards and an accompanying DVD. Encourage your loved one to freely explore the images, using them to spark conversation. Prompt them to describe what they see in the images and share how it makes them feel, fostering open dialogue and self-expression.
